Knowledge Base is a local blog based in Forney, Texas, focused on everyday life in the city and how it’s changing over time. It covers general observations about the area, local food spots, traffic patterns, new development, and things people in the community actually notice while living here. When I first started this blog I noticed there was a lack of informational content surrounding Forney, which i hope to change with this website.
About Ashley Blake
I’m Ashley, I’m 34, and I live in Forney with my two kids. Most of my time is just normal day-to-day stuff around town, school runs, grocery trips, driving around, and figuring out routines that actually work. When I get downtime, I like simple things like grabbing food locally, going for random drives when it’s quiet, listening to music, and sometimes enjoying a night out at the movies, or if I’m feeling special, Latham Bakery Cafe. This blog is just me writing about Forney from my own perspective while actually living here and moving through it every day.
The goal of this site is not to over-explain Forney or turn it into something it isn’t. It’s simply a place to document what it’s like living in a town that is still actively developing, where new businesses, roads, and neighborhoods are constantly changing how the city feels and functions. Posts are based on real observations around town, including local restaurants, common driving routes, and general changes in the area over time. Some content is structured and informational, while other posts are more casual and based on day-to-day experiences. This isn’t a guide or an official source for the city. It’s just a local perspective on Forney as it is right now.
